June rang in her 5-month mark with a bout of stomach flu. She was throwing up during the night, then more in the morning. So Geoff and I split the day off from work and tried to get some fluids in her. Our little Bug was equally resistant to Pedialyte in the bottle as she was milk, so we didn’t push it and decided that since we won the battle before, we were cautious. She took some through a syringe and only had a few pukes left before we got into the night. We had to gradually work in breast milk, so she only got to feed for few minutes then had to be taken off for 10 minutes to see if she held it down. She definitely did not like that and was sure to let me know she was pissed. After an hour+ of that, she was tired (below) and woke up and was able to have a full morning feed….fingers crossed.
