Baby Dos

Quick Update:

We are officially “full-term” tomorrow (37 weeks) and had our midwife appointment today. Certainly something to celebrate since 17 weeks ago we were worried about making it this far; and baby’s ability to grow because of the placental abruption.  It’s great news! Obviously it didn’t seem to slow growth as right now they estimate that it will be another big baby – guessing around 8 pounds currently.  I am measuring at about 41 weeks (~4 weeks ahead in size). While I am a bit concerned about baby (and my) size, they seem to think everything is just peachy because I delivered a 9-pound baby before “with ease.” Ha.

I am really ready to go physically, as I’ve had a decent amount of back and bone pain, and it obviously isn’t super comfortable anymore, but it sounds like we’ll be waiting a few more weeks to meet baby number 2.  At least the midwife said today that they wouldn’t want me to go much past 40 weeks – phew!

Still waddling!
