At June’s school they let parents come in to see their birthday celebration and then each child gets to talk about their journey each year.  (I love Montessori.) We also found out that one of her friends also has her birthday today – Joey.  She is sitting on the other side of her teacher.  They were pretty excited to celebrate together.  They each go through the little tradition (see video) then they each get to pick a story that the teacher reads to the class.  We also made a poster of pictures of June as she progressed from 1-3 and she got to tell the class about it this morning.

She was pretty excited to have Mama at the celebration, sneaking smiles in and waving to me.
