From June's Montessori teacher today:
Today is such a bittersweet day for me and Ms. Brisa. We are so excited for June to move forward on her academic journey. I know she will soak in her new environment, make new friends, and excel academically! But we are so sad to see her leave the Owl Room.
For the past two years we have watched her blossom into a real person in our class! She entered our little owl nest as a toddler who was unsure of us as teachers and her surroundings. But day by day her trust and curiosity grew. Now she truly is a leader in the classroom! The little ones look up to her, name stuffed animals after her, request to hold her hand in line. She learned her sounds, numbers, continents, months, days of the week, about new cultures, how to be a good friend, stand up for herself, and so much more!
We will miss her bug facts, her hugs, her inquisitive nature, her impish smile, we will miss everything about June Bug! I can't imagine the Owl Room without June. Please keep us posted on all her successes at the Green School!
Also we got her the best book in the world as a going away gift and read it aloud at circle time. There is an inscription from us in the front.
