What a great helper for shopping! Kate got a little cart from a garage sale, and it was terrific to have with us. We made a list with pictures and words, and she had a couple of coupons for each aisle so she could match them to the products as we went along. We shopped during the day so she didn't get in the way of the big carts in the busier shopping hours or run over by some of the hurried shoppers. It took some organizing ahead of time, but she had a blast and learned so much! It was all I could do to keep a straight face while she selected just the right apple or banana to put into her cart. Some things were bigger decisions than others, of course.
