Peace/Piece
We were talking about songs she’s singing in class and she talked about peace.  Montessori schools often have peace and community as a big part of the curriculum and culture in the classroom.
June said, “Peace begins with me!” She was pretty excited and we certainly agreed.
She then said, “Like I’m a piece of work, right?”

Lemon
We also agreed that, when she’s 6, we’ll start to correct her on her middle name, but for now it’s too darn cute and innocent to hear her say, “My name is June Lemon Mullin.”
We still say Lennon when we talk to her, but right now we just can’t help but smile and not correct her in the moment.
