I’ve been really wanting to see the fall colors in the mountains – it’s really unique. You really only get the bright yellow aspens, but the sharp contrast with the evergreens is pretty awesome. You can see the bright patches on the far mountain views too. So the girls and I headed up for a late afternoon hike outside of Golden – Golden Gate Canyon State Park. They loved it and did great on about a 3-mile hike!
